There were 2 Victoria-related things in this UK-printed magazine. The first was Shalimar being rated one of the Top 50 Feisty Fantasy Females. Shal came in at #36, which made me laugh since she could totally demolish #1, Alias's Sydney Bristow, in less than a heartbeat.

The logline for the interview from the table of contents reads:

"Mutant X
We take a final look at the recently-cancelled superhero series by chatting to Victoria Pratt, the woman who's spent the last three years leaping off buildings in the cause of feralkind."

Some interesting tidbits from this interview were 1) the revelation that Shalimar's father DID die in the NAXCON accident [a devastating blow to my fanfic :-/], and 2) the fact that they no longer had Paul Ropovsky as their stunt coordinator in Season 3. Vicky had this to say on the subject:

(John Stead's) approach is rather different to that of our former stunt person... John likes the fights to be really vicious. Shalimar dispenses with her victims more quickly this season, and they don't always see her coming. She may skitter along a rooftop and follow her 'prey' before suddenly pouncing on them... He likes to see what you can do with your body as opposed to putting you in a harness and wire."

Back issues of this magazine featuring the article in its entirety can be ordered from the publisher's site:

The cost with postage is about $12 american

I liked the edge that Mr. Stead's stunt work brought to Shalimar, but I miss the wirework. As I said on the Shalimar board, what would have been ideal in my mind would have been to merge the two, the organic with the wirework. Then Shal could have had the edge AND the high flying stuff that we all loved so much.

You gotta admit though...I think Vicky was probably somewhat relieved that she didn't have to be strapped in that harness so much. ;)
