Yes siree...Vicky's working on a new movie, filming as we speak, an indy horror romp tentatively titled Brotherhood of Blood where she stars as a butt-kicking vampire slayer!!! Should be interesting, considering one of her co-stars is veteran actor Sid Haig from House of 1000 Corpses! More info on this as soon as I get it.
Move over Buffy, cuz Vicky Pratt is gonna kick your @$$!!!
The Brotherhood of the Blood is about a vampire huntress whose clan is wiped out by something more evil than the bloodsuckers; a demon called Vlad Kossei.
Even the vamps are afraid of him, but he’s not able to regain his full power until he kills his brother. The huntress sets out to stop him before it’s too late.

A synopsis of this film, sent to us by its producers, follows:
Carrie Rieger tugs at her bonds. The young vampire huntress has to free herself. Guarded by vampires, chained in a dark cellar, her time is running out. She knows that an even greater threat than the vampires is coming relentlessly closer. Everything will be decided tonight. Carrie has crossed a dangerous trail: Back from a faraway journey, a man slowly transforms into a vampire. And he transforms further – into something that even the vampires fear. After a massacre that wipes out her group of vampire hunters, Carrie realizes that she has come between the front lines in a deadly war. The hunters became the hunted. But a wounded vampire reveals the truth: Evil is approaching, irresistible evil. Even the vampires band together. They are on the run, like animals fleeing a forest fire. They all fear the return of a mighty demon: Vlad Kossei. The vampire sovereigns killed Kossei many hundreds of years ago, but now he has seemingly returned. In his new body, he will take revenge and destroy everything in his way. But he has not yet regained his old strength... Ultimately, Carrie manages to free herself. She knows that Vlad Kossei is coming here tonight. He wants something that the vampires are holding captive along with Carrie: His brother. Once the brother is killed, he will transform completely into Vlad Kossei and become invincible. There’s only one way for Carrie to save herself and the brother: She has to face Vlad Kossei and destroy him...
"The Brotherhood of Blood" also teams Haig once again with another horror veteran and "Devil's Rejects" costar, Ken Foree.
An anticipated release date is not yet known, as the film is still in principal photography, but be sure there will be more news to come the minute it becomes available.

Another low-budget vampire flick just finished shooting in Los Angeles. ALONE IN THE DARK screenwriters Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer wrapped last month on their directorial debut, BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD. The film is described as a claustrophobic thriller about a team of vampire hunters who infiltrate a nest of undead to rescue one of their own. BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD stars the busy Sid Haig and his DEVIL’S REJECTS “brother” Ken Foree, as well as Victoria Pratt, who also toplines the Roesch and Scheerer-scripted HOUSE OF THE DEAD II. The supporting cast includes Jason (URBAN GHOST STORY) Connery, Will (THE LOST WORLD) Snow and Rachel (DIE ANOTHER DAY) Grant. Arrow in the Head website guru John (PAINKILLER) Fallon, last seen in SAW II, has a bit part as well. “We’re thrilled to work with this exciting cast in the genre we love: horror,” Roesch says in a statement. “We tell a vampire story from a different angle,” adds Scheerer, “and, of course, there will be blood!”
Juergen Popp serves as executive producer on BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, with THE MANGLER REBORN’s Nicole Ackermann & Mark Burman and THE THIRST’s Sascha Seifert & Scott Pearlman taking credit as producers and co-producers, respectively. FANGORIA writer Calum Waddell came on board as associate producer as well. Watch this site in the coming weeks for exclusive pix and an early BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD set report. —Tony Timpone
The film stars Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil Rejects), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, The Devil Rejects), Victoria Pratt (House of the Dead 2), Will Snow, Rachel Grant and Robin of Sherwood himself, Jason Connery.
The cast listing was from a larger article - I didn't post it since it covers all the same territory as the Fangoria one. I find it very interesting that Vicky's name is always right after Sid and Ken in the articles that I'm finding. Hopefully IMDb will get on the stick with their updates and well have a cast list that reflects the official billing.
The writing/directing team of Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer, the scribes behind this year’s HOUSE OF THE DEAD II, promise to infuse some fresh blood into the everlasting vampire genre with BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD. The duo are currently in the midst of postproduction on the film after shooting in Los Angeles last fall. THE DEVIL’S REJECTS’ Sid Haig co-stars alongside DAWN OF THE DEAD’s Ken Foree, Victoria Pratt (pictured above, packin‘ heat), Jason (WISHMASTER 3) Connery, Rachel (DIE ANOTHER DAY) Grant and Will Snow; the former Captain Spaulding plays the “first” creature, and in BLOOD his kin are up to no good, harassing a team of vampire hunters who have to infiltrate a bloodsucker nest to rescue one of their own. Roesch tells Fango, “A lot of people who have read the script say that it’s like a cross between RESERVOIR DOGS, THE USUAL SUSPECTS and a very bloody horror movie.”
BLOOD’s creators excitedly shot Fango over the exclusive first-look shots above and below from the film, particularly a scene in which three of the film’s pivotal heroes return to base camp only to discover that a gruesome slaughter has occurred. “The evening we were shooting that sequence, we were running out of blood,” says Scheerer. “It was 7:30 p.m. when we discovered that we had only five gallons of blood left. And we had more stuff to shoot that night.”
“Fortunately, it was no problem,” Roesch continues. “There was a store down the street selling blood. And half an hour later, we were able to shoot the whole bloody night—it was a mess!”
Beyond the copious amounts of crimson fluids readily available in Hollywood, the pair are quite pleased with how the BROTHERHOOD experience has gone overall so far. “When we started the project, we hoped to get at least one or two good actors,” says Scheerer. “But then the script started circulating in LA, and actors and agents loved the story and the way it is told. So we were able to get this great cast—even without a very high budget.”
