What if Vicky doesn't come back?

If Mutant X was saved and Vicky wasn't to return as Shalimar i would probably watch it but i wouldn't be as enthusiastic, i'd definitely give it a try to see how it was as the other characters are brilliant and i love them all but i'd like to see what happened from the finishing point when Adam got kidnapped in a sense, but i think it'd have to have all the characters in it for me to stay interested, Katy xxx

Vicky's sparkle is one of the things that really made that show...and her acting ability. It wouldn't be right without her, and I'm just afraid that I would lose interest, what with all of MXs problems. It really is hard to say

Guys,i mean girls.......the show without Shalimar is over!If u remember she was The 1 in Mutant X.Adam brought her first,after her was Jesse and u know the story.....So,my point is that MX is NOTHING without Vicky(even if they replace it with other actress)Vicky is UNIQUE!!!!!!

If they replaced Vicky with another actress I definitely wouldn't watch. You can't replace her. I'd rather not have Shal at all in that case.

Vicky is unique, that's for sure. There'll NEVER be another Vicky Pratt, and I wouldn't want there to be. And she is the only one that can play Shal. PERIOD. She owns that character heart and soul. She made Shalimar what she was, not the writers.

I can honestly say that if the Shal part was played by someone else, MutantX would not have made such an impact on me as it has now. I watch a lot of TV shows but Mutant X is my absolute favorite.

So o Vicki no Shal....She is the best to play that role...and u are right Slidershal,Vicky made Shalimar what she was...so Vicky is the right person to play Shal nobody else..

I TOTALLY agree with you Shallynn. Its because Vicky is such a phenominal actor. Truth is that Shalimar was somewhat beneath her abilities, in terms of the quality of writing.

Xena is still my all time #1 fave, but I think that is because it had such good quality of storytelling. I loved MX but there were a lot of problems and inconsistantcies and things that could have been done better.

I agree, Vicky makes the show. I'd watch her in anything else though, as long as she kicks butt. She could even be brunette.

She doesn't have to kick butt even. I LOVE her acting, doesn't matter what it is.

This thread is theoretical now. Mutant X is cancelled, over, not coming back. We're just talking about 'what if'.
