I still think Lexa/Jess is a smoke screen for Bren/Shal while they play 'we're together but not'. But with the big scene in "The Assault" going so badly it sure didn't seem that way. I wouldn't mind Lexa/Jess at all, but I want Bren/Shal, dammit...

I was reading the 'Which Character Has Evolved Most?' thread over at PureMX and came across a point that I totally agree with. The answer to the question is Lexa. Over the course of season three there is a clear a-to-b progression with the character that is consistant and believable and shows growth and change. Up until season three Shalimar was the most 'consistant' character, but she's been stuck in the same place for the last two years because The Powers That Be have blown every chance to test her and make her grow. They didn't do that with Lexa. She's been a really solid character

OOoooo I like the answer lol and i think its true she has evovled quit a bit and shown she has more than the up in you face layer....for example in Brother's Keeper in a falsh back it showed she had once been a sweet caring person that hardened over the years do to events that happened to her. Then as the season progressed she began to show what was behind her walls of defense...one of the reasons I like Lexa alot

Its one of the reasons that she is my fave after Shalimar. Lexa has all of these well thought out and for the most part well written layers to her. I've enjoyed watching her let her guard down over the course of the season and letting us see who she is underneath that hard-ass exterior. I like the real Lexa a lot.

heheh me too she so warmed up to the team and learned to care about others other than herself and her brother....she risked termination to save the others after they saved her....I think she learned what it meant to be on a team after a few eps

She cares about everyone on the team including Shalimar, even though she knows that Shal isn't really her biggest fan. LOL it makes me laugh, watching Lexa extend the hand of friendship, only to have Shalimar snap at it.

No lol but Shal needs to relax and let Lexa in. Lexa's not so bad. I think Shal still has this feeling that Lexa could turn on them, so she is wary. I also think that in the Prophecy, when Shal hinted quite strongly that Lexa was not her friend, that it was BS.

Exactly. They're friends, even if Shal doesn't want to admit it when she gets grumpy . It seems like Lexa considers Shal a friend.
