Easy pics for fave Bren/Shal eps have to be "A Breed Apart" (duh! they ALMOST KISSED!!!) and "Hand of God" (relationship finally went beyond flirting, YAY!!!)

there was another in the breed she kissed him.. on the lips too ;D though it wasn't intimte they still kissed or she kissed him.

Yeah. Unfortunately we can't count that one in "The Breed"  But it is proof of how Shal feels. ;D That part of it is good. When I went back and watched that almost-kiss in "A Breed Apart" (S1 finale), I'm not sure but I think that for just an instant, their lips actually touched...!!!  Go back and check it out and you'll see what I mean. *grumbling* Why did stupid Emma have to mess it up??? 3 MORE SECONDS Emma, that's all they needed... |

My theory is that Emma, being an empath and can sense peoples feelings... intereputed on purpose.

Yeah that probably was it b/c she really didnt' have anything to show them. They knew she could produce psionic blasts. But hand of god, whose wodds these are, and the breed definitely shows how she feels about him. Now they just need to go a step further ;D

Good point Shalgal. There were some definite sparks between Emma and Brennan early on in the series... maybe she was jealous. ;D
Also a good point blackpanther. From my point of view Brennan (at least up to "Hand of God") is the one who's in touch with the fact that he's in love. Shal is only just now really waking up to her feelings, even though they've been there for a while. "Hand of God" was a real wake up call for her.

I think she's known that she loved him jsut supressed it, not wanting to admit it. but hand of god was definitely a wake up call if u ask me  maybe now they'll move past the flirting |

Well I kinda know how it is for Shal. You can be truly in love with someone and not really realize it until something happens to really trigger it, you know? What happened in Hand of God got Shal's attention.

Maybe in that she felt things that she wasn't expecting to. Becasue she wasn't expecting it, at least on a conscious level, it threw her a little.
