"Look, Angel," Terry had used her real name, which meant he was seriuos on what he wanted to say. "The old man knew of a prophecy. ONe that he would never want to let you know, but I mysefl will." Eyeing him curiously, she nodded. Licking his lips, Terry continued. "It's believed that 'The One' will bring the fall of the montrous beast, which I'm sure means the Agents. But it will never be done unless with the aid of the enemy's own hand." He sighed at Angel's lost look. "You who have been created by the Agents, are the enemy's hand." She snorted,"I'm suppose to help bring down their fall? I'm just happy avoiding them, not one face to face confrontation." "You might have no choice at all. And the old man was sure of it."

"What?" Terry asked as he looked at a starteld Angel. "Someone's there." she pointed out, moving towards the stairs. But no one was there. At least not than, but Angel could "see" the residual heat left from 2 bodies. Gliding up the steps, she caught movement in Shadow's room and walked up to the door. Shadow was asleep. Angel was beginning to worry that the Agents had found them and she immediatly rushed over to Cleo's room.

Cleo's room was empty except for the sleeping feral. Sighing a relief, Angel left the two to their sleep and walked down the stairs. But her fearswere still there as she stepped out the front door. Terry pulled her back in. "Whoa, where you going China?" "Just making sure there are really no other guests around..." "Maybe it was just the wind-." "I don;t care if it was the wind or the queen. I'm giong to make sure that's all." She smiled and walked out.

Stepping through the dewy grass of the farm , Angel searched the area and scrutinized every blade of grass. Even if what Terry said was true, whthere it was the wind or not., Angel was going to make sure. She didn't care if it was cat or an alien or even the Queen of Spain. She was going to set herself at ease. She didn't waste the last 20 years just to be caught by a bunch of made to order machines.
"Oh darn I was hoping to tell her everything," Shadow said sarcastically a mock disapointment on her face. Shadow was younger then Cleo and a bit more childish but always loyal and kept her word to people especially her sister.
"Of course not. I like her and trust her just not THAT much. I promise not to say a word." Shadow smiled. "I bet we'll find out soon how she's connected just hope not that soon. I dont wanna fight anymore agents for at least a week." Shadow fell back on the bed onto a pillow. "Wish the Agents would just go poof."

Whatever it was back there, it was long gone. Angel paced the dinning area as Terry looked on. "Enough already China, you're giving me a headache." He said. She snorted and moved towards the library, the old man's library. Throwing herself with a huff into the main and only chair, she swung herself from side to side, absent mindedly scanning the table.
