The more that I have thought about what happened with Brennan and Shalimar in "The a**ault", the more unhappy I have been, and the more I have realized how truly disappointed I am. Read my essay "Huge Dissapointment, Big Mistake - The Bren/Shal Fiasco" on PhoeniXIn spite of my initial happiness over the event [as reflected in my older posts here], this essay is how I really feel about the whole thing after having a chance to step back and think about it. If Peter Mohan thinks that he has given us some grandious love story, he is sorely mistaken, and I'm pretty sure that there is more than one pissed off shipper out there. *singing* If you're unhappy and you know it SLAP MOHAN...[glow=orange,2,300]*FERAL EYES*[/glow] Feel free to leave comments/thoughts on the essay in this thread. I hate when I see people wanting to get more and more money in their pocket ... that's what they did with the hole series ... and with Bren and Shal BLEAH I HATE IT !

having a little better understanding of the series these days, you have to understand that a lot of that show was tongue in cheek...they did stuff to be goofy and outrageous. For example a lot of people rolled their eyes over the women in prision episode...but that is exactly what it was supposed to be. You couldn't take things too seriously, you know? It was ultimately just supposed to be fun. There still isn't an excuse tho for a lot of the inconsistant storytelling.
As for Bren and Shal...I will always wish that it could have been the romantic culmination that it was always meant to be, but...seriously if that show had ended without those two getting it on I would have SCREAMED and gone INSANE. So I guess its kind of a be careful what you wish for thing. Between what we got and leaving things hanging, I'll take what we got!

Hey Slidershal, I was wondering whether you can send me ur essay on The BrenShal Thing and the other one. I tried checking it our on mutantxphoenix.com but I think the site closed down or something. I just like joined today and I know you wrote the essay like ages ago, but still, I really want to read it. Oh and by the way, I think you put up vids on Youtube too right?? Cos I think I've seen some of them. If you do, can you please post the commentaries of VP?  ? LOL. I don't own any of the DVDs!!!! Oh, and yeah, when are you gonna finish your fanfic in the Aftermath series??? There's one that's unfinished. BTW, I loooooooove ur fanfics. The Aftermath one is soooo sad towards the end. Oh, and who's Keith??? I keep on seeing him cropping up in some fanfics back at fanfiction.net. I think he might be a character in one of the eps I missed. LOL I know i wrote a really, super long message. Sorry |

Wow cool to hear from a fan of my fanfics, lol. Glad you enjoyed them. As for when Choices will be finished...I'm not sure. Life has gotten busy and I don't have time to write like I used to but I do plan to finish that story eventually.
Nope no vids on YouTube from me.
And lastly, I'd be happy to send you my essays....now that I think about it I might put them up on my fanfic site. Well I'll either send them to you or get them posted up on my site soon.
Don't know how much of a Vicky fan you are, but if you're a fan of hers make sure you stop by PrattPack.com!

I do stop by there at least like once a week for the last thre years!!! LOL, I only found this site like a few days ago. Had no idea these two sites were run by the same person!! Anyway, hardl anyone seems to come online these days except for you. lol.

Yeah there isn't a lot of chatting going on here since Mutant X has ended. I think most people join to keep up on the latest Vicky news and to chat here and there. Glad to hear that you know of PrattPack as well! My buddy Lara and I run it...its our pride and joy, and I've heard that Vicky really likes it. ;D
