I keeping my fingers crossed that it will be a box office film that I can actually see and not another indy film that takes forever/never gets distributed like 'The Mallory Effect'. Vicky in a Comedy/Horror flick? That is just TOO dangerous to contemplate...

More news: www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=2690 August 24: Stand-up guys experience COMEDY HELL Writer/director Scott (THE BLAIR b**** PROJECT) LaRose wrapped his debut feature film, COMEDY HELL, in LA last week. The humorous horror movie, about three funnymen stalked by a maniac, stars Eric (THE AMBULANCE) Roberts, Rick (EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS) Overton, Michael (SEAQUEST) DeLuise, Victoria (MUTANT X) Pratt, Marty (NYPD BLUE) Rackham, Brian (AMERICAN IDOL) Dunkleman and Owen (GILMORE GIRLS) Smith. “COMEDY HELL is an outrageously new, completely original horror/comedy,” LaRose tells Fango, “with the emphasis on horror. It’s about three stand-up comics [Rackham, Smith and Dunkleman] who go to Big Bear, CA to do a gig and cross paths with a serial killer named Wayne who’s killing devil worshippers and other blasphemers.” LaRose has corralled some major FX talent for his film. “Greg Nicotero at KNB has pulled off another amazing job doing all the never-been-seen-before gore,” he says. “We also have a cameo by Chris Nelson from KNB, who played the groom in KILL BILL VOL. 2, as a clerk. Plus Bob Kurtzman, formerly of KNB, is doing all the visual effects from Ohio with his newly formed company, Precinct 13 Entertainment. “We finished shooting on Friday the 13th,” LaRose continues. “No s***. It wasn’t even planned. The movie’s tagline is, ‘COMEDY HELL: Laugh…till it really hurts.’ ” —Tony Timpone

Since its an indy film, I have no idea where any of us will be able to see it. It might come out on DVD at some point like 'Legacy', but its hard to say.
