This is a very important message to all you Vicky site surfers... One of the biggest sites out there, victoriaprattonline.com, is infecting computers with a trojan virus named Exploit-WMF. All you have to do is navigate to this page and YOU WILL BE INFECTED. I know because I've spent the last 2 hours trying to get it off my computer. It is my belief that the site's owner/admin is unaware of this serious problem, and I am currently trying to get in touch with them. If anyone knows the admin PLEASE NOTIFY THEM. It is a low-level threat but it is a PAIN to remove.

Erm err slider, I erm got the virus thingy and was wondering if you could enlighten me on how you got rid of it as it's driving me up and down walls like a roller of paint, i got it back in november and it crashed the PC, Could i get my computer to load up NOPE not a chance, I done a system restore from safe mode but i'm still having trouble with pc. I don't mean to be a pain (I was born that way lol) But any advice and/or help you can give me would be great. Thankyou Katy

Umm you know I had to get rid of it doing a backdoor delete with the aid of my antivirus software. I would advise checking with your antivirus provider...hopefully you have one. The little bugger is almost impossible to find on your system otherwise. I wish that I could be more help to you. Another thing you can do as a quick fix is un-register Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (that is the program that triggers the trojan's executable that causes all the problems) until you can remove it from your system. If you can, look up 'Exploit-WMF' on the internet and you should be able to find info about how to get rid of it. Hope that helps ya!
While we're on the subject of the VPO Trojan, I have good news. I got the all clear today, and after testing things out (my system is full protected with the new patch I installed) I am happy to report that VPO is back and trojan-free. Crisis over, lol.
