POST-EP#320 "The Prophecy"

Ok so the Ashlocke incarnate stuff didn't work out the way that I thought, but WHOA this was a good ep, one of the best of the series I think. It was pretty heavy, with some pretty serious implications.

I wouldn't want to be Shalimar right now; Bisop showed her what is coming. She knows. And the way that Shal freaked out at the end... I think she saw that Brennan will be the one to fall. But there is an out here, way that I see it: the prophecy in this ep was stopped, so that should mean that the prophecy about the fate of MX can be stopped too, and no one will die.

I have two favorite comedy moments from this ep:
*when Riley called Bren and Shal "Ken" and "Barbie". Something about equating Shal with Barbie tickled my funny bone.

*the comment Lexa made about Brennan, and Shal marking her territory. I knew it was only a matter of time before there was a pee joke concerning a feral

Another thing that I really like is what I learned about feral behavior, and how it really is governed by the animal DNA. Pretty cool.

lol well took u long enough to figure out htat teh animal DNA does infulence their bheavior that was an already known fact for me ;D I study animals too much LOL

THis ep was one of the best it kept me in suspence the whole time and i was so shocked at the end. I just sat there, gapping. It was just great overall

I guess I always assumed that the human side would be dominant, maybe cause we only ever saw mammalian ferals most of the time. Cross a human with feline and, even though the feline DNA is dominant with behavior, you won't see much of a difference, since a feline is still a mammal like a human is.

Makes me wonder, now... If Shalimar's animal side governs her behavior, if her instincts are based in her animal side, what happens in a situation like sex?

Yep Riley did Shifaa lol and Cleo to answer ur question I think since she has the instincts of a feline mammal that would guide her primal instinct on the sex factor. Her animal side guides her behavior and instincts and that includes sex....that's what i know on animals lol

i really did get mad when bren kissed riley in front of shal. even if she is his sons mom that doesnt make it ok to break shals heart and if he doesnt know shes crazy about him maybe he needs to be put in that mental asylum lol jk but seriously ive always thought it was kinda obvious guess thats cause we see her when shes all emotional over him and he doesnt but it still makes me mad and kinda sad

what im very pumped about finding out is who is in true love, who will betray and who will fall or die or whatever "fall" means in this epi.
anyone know whats gonna happen to who then pls pm me or email me, im dying to know anything!!!!!!!!!!

I was more shocked htat Brennan kissed Riley but I dont think he knows that Shalimar loves/ likes him so he didnt take that into consideration

I think the true love is Shalimar and Brennan.....go to proxy blue and read what the writers said about the two

On the note of what I said about ferals and sex: Hmmm, you have to wonder now don't you, whether that would make Shalimar agressive or submissive, since she is the female of the species [duh]... I hope Brennan is prepared to get ripped to shreds

Wait, did Brennan kiss Riley in front of Shal?? I remember him kissing Riley, but not with Shal around. You all have to remember something - in their hearts Bren and Shal know that they love each other, but I don't think that it registers consciously. They're both way in denial, so I don't think it would even enter Brennan's mind that he would be hurting Shal by kissing Riley. And what's more, when Shal gets upset seeing Brennan with another girl, I don't think she fully understands why - she's reacting on an impulse that she doesn't "get" yet. But she will... ;D

Trust me, "True love will call," is about Bren and Shal. The whole Jess/Lexa thing is just meant to keep us guessing.

LOL for most of the ep I thought the mountain in the prophecy was about Stormking Mountain [where Sanctuary is], too! Glad I wasn't the only one that occured to...

And "fall" could mean something other than death. I really don't know. But Shal's reaction to the vision of the prophecy has me scared, big time. Whatever is coming its big and its bad.

Shalimar is alpha so she can be agressive but with one she loves she will probably be gentle.

It is big and bad what is to come there's no doubt in my mind about that

I was reading on mutantx.net that someone hopes it will be Lex and Jesse that find true love They're in for a suprise! True love is about Bren and Shal all the way!!!!!!

LOL I"d be happy either way Bren/Shal or Jesse/Lexa I'd be happy as long as one of them find true love...hey we'd get double if they both did LMAO and yeah they are in for a surprise cause it is Bren and Shal and i cant wait to see that !!!!!

I laughed when Bishop was giving the prophecy to Shal and he said "True love will call". It was supposed to be like, a mystery, and I was like DUH! I KNOW WHO THAT'S ABOUT! SHALIMAR HOW STUPID ARE YOU?? lol ;D
