This was a pretty good ep. LOVED watching Vicky doing those bungee and trampoline stunts. Looks like they did bring in a stunt double after all, so they could get some more complex stunts for the bungee scenes. But most of it IS Victoria, and it was every bit as cool as she told me it was going to be ;D Damn it must have been fun doing all those flips!!!
And darn it all Eckhart really is dead. Poo.
One of my favorite parts of the whole episode was when Bren and Shal first arrived at the circus. Bren looks at the clowns and says "I thought everyone in this circus was supposed to be a mutant?" And then the clows teleports behind him and hits him over the head with the mallet!!! LMAO I totally laughed out loud at that!!!
Also, hands-down, THE BEST line in this ep was, after Jess asked what Brennan is up to, Lexa says "Probably off making out with the bearded lady." ROTFLMAO!!!

I LOVED THAT PART WITH THE CLOWNS!!! I kept rewinding it to watch them smack him on the head and i loved VIcky's laugh it was great.....I WANNA DO THE BUNGEE JUMPING!!!! Hey Cleo you and I should go find a place to do bungee jumping LOL that would be so damn awesome!!!! You could so tell Vicky was enjoying the bungee jumping and the trampoline!! ;D lol i would be too if i got to do that!!

That, Rain my dear, was the real Victoria laugh.  I think that's the only time I've ever heard it on MX, or any of her shows over the years. Don't you love it??!! I was chuckling to myself watching all the bungee and trampoline stuff, cause Vicky was having WAY too much fun with it. It was like the Shalimar character just kinda dropped out and it was Vicky running around like a kid at recess!!! Wait, Vicky is always goofy and running around like a kid at recess... You know what I mean ;D ITS WHY WE LOVE HER!!!!! They have one of those bungee harness thingys at my Great America park. I am so gonna try it next time I go! ;D |

I loved that laugh I was like HEY that wasnt a Shal laugh that was so Vicky LOL i knew that from watching the outtakes, knowing what was her real laugh and not tehehe....I could so tell that was Vicky and not Shalimar on the trampoline hey i would be like that too bouncing around having fun ;D

It was so funny because for the entire episode I was seeing Vicky acting like WHEEEEEEEEEEE the whole time.
I also really liked that one song that played, you know when Brennan was watching that contortionist? I wonder if that was original music for the episode. If not, I wonder who did it? I wouldn't mind getting that CD...

hahaha i want the CD for the whole show the music was awesome especially in I Scream the Body Electric when Shal and Emma were doing that slow marital arts thing I LOVED the song to that

I LOVE THAT SONG TOO! I know it was original music, and I think it was written by Lou Natale, the composer of the Mutant X theme.
While we're on the subject I loved those two songs from "Fool For Love", the one from the love scene, and also the one that was playing when Richard was dying. Great acid jazz stuff. The stuff playing in the club at the beginning was hot too!
I wish that there would be an MX soundtrack with all that good stuff on it. A 2-DISC SET!!!

Don't get your hopes up - the lawsuit with FOX will keep them from doing soundtracks or merchandise, or especially a movie  But I would say that a soundtrack is the most viable of those things. I really thought that the music in this ep was the best of the season and some of the best of the series. It really took me back to S1 |

well fox can just *BEEP BEEP* okay yeah anyways well screw them MX is nothing like X-Men so HA so yeah they should make a soundtrack i would so love to hear and get all the music ;D

Its especially ludicrous when you consider the fact that MX and the X-Men movies were both created by Marvel, and have Avi Arad as a producer.  I read that post that Shalgal put up on Proxy, the one about how the shot where Shalimar looks into the tent at the circus was the final shot of the season. I had thought watching the episode that Shalimar's reaction was different [dunno if that's the right way to say it]. I wonder if that was because the shot they used was Victoria's reaction to seeing all the cast and crew waiting to say goodbye? Just seemed like the reaction was Vicky and not Shalimar. |
