Adam knew that she was tired - she needed to rest. But she couldn't go back to sleep just yet. His hand squeezed her shoulder.
"Shalimar...I'm going to move you to one of the beds and give you a sedative, okay?"
He motioned for Emma to come help move her.

shalimar groaned and whimpered all she wanted to do was slep but adam kept waking her. she nodded as she began to open her eyes. shalimar began to try to get out of the chair and nearly fell from being light headed.

Adam and Emma each grabbed and arm and helped Shalimar get to her feet. Luckly they were there to support her, or she would have toppled over. Carefully they helped her to the nearby bed and gently laid her down. Adam loaded a syringe and gave Shalimar the sedative. She fell asleep before Adam had even finished covering her with a blanket.
"Emma, between you and me, I want her watched at all times until Brennan and Jesse get back from that errand I sent them on. Then they can take turns too. I don't want her out of our site."

Emma nodded. "She isnt lying about sleeping. She has been what else could she be doing in her room? I dont know why she'd have insomnia or sleep deprivation whatever it is. I'll keep an eye on her for now."

after a while shalimar started to toss and turn in her sleep.

Emma jumped from her place on the lab chair. She had been reading when she saw the feral tossing and turning. She shook her to try and wake her.

shalimar didnt wake up but pushed emma some as she rolled over

"ADAM!!" Emma yelled as Shalimar jsut rolled over and continued to thrash.

"Yeah," Emma answered. "She jsut pushed me away and rolled over, continuing to thrash around." Emma was becoming more worried.

Adam hurriedly loaded a syringe with a strong stimulant and injected Shalimar. Seconds passed...
"She's not responding."
