Sleep walking...
Ignoring the now dark purple splotch on Shalimar's head, he pulled a small flashlight out of a nearby drawer.
"Hey Shalimar..." He snapped his fingers to get her attention. "Look at me..."
He shined the light in her eyes, one at a time. No sign of concussion, though pupil response was slower than normal...
" Do you remember what happened?"

shalimar looked at adam after a moment. " and started to blink the lights where bothing her. " no i got up to go to the bathroom" and now im here

Emma raised an eyebrow, "I dont think so. You run into a wall and you're exhausted for some reason. You look like you havent slept in days."

Adam replaced the flashlight in the drawer and got the dermal regenerator. Carefully he began to treat the bruise on Shalimar's head.
"Shalimar, Emma told me how tired you were this morning... Have you been sleeping?"

Adam sighed.
"Well, judging from your pupil response, seeming exhaustion, and the way you walked into a wall without realizing it in a room that you don't even remember being in, I would say that you were suffering the early stages of sleep deprevation."

shalimar looked at adam " early signs?" but how? i swear adam i have been sleeping." she sighed not knowing what to do. she suddenly yawned and shook her head.

Adam exchanged a worried glance with Emma.
He had finished with the dermal regenerator. The bruise was gone, as if it had never been there.
"I can run a brain scan to confirm it...might not be a bad idea."

While Shalimar dozed, half asleep in the chair, Adam ran the scan. Emma stood silently by, watching with concern.
Just as he thought, Shalimar was in the early stages of sleep deprevation. But she insisted that she had been sleeping. So either she was lying, or something else was going on...
Adam shook Shalimar gently to wake her. Her eyes slowly fluttered open.
"Shalimar, then scan confirmed what I thought. You're sleep deprived."

shalimar looked at adam and sighing wishing he didnt wake her up. " ok adam" she said before she closed her eyes again and tried to go back to sleep
