It kinda left it open for so many possibilities. They could go into hiding for a few months to make sure the Dominion is truly gone.

Maybe Adam had another Sancutary located someplace else and the team has to go back to where they found Adam to find out were this place is and they continue help New Mutants and find they have a new Bad guy to deal with.

The Ending gave me quite a few ideas.

well i think they said about a little over a thousand and Sanctuary is located in Stormking Mountain (a real mountain that acutally exsists) MX takes place is unknown as it was supposed to be lol
