I know, tell me about it. I thought that site wasn't active anymore, until that update actually popped up! Oh, and what's an hour and a half for some good old-fashioned fun!! Not that there's anything old-fashioned about any of the dances, that is! P.S. I PMed you the details of the studio and the pictures. :

I'd be in..As an observer of course! Slidershal is right about the distance but it's not that bad if you don't go in rush hour! I will probably move to a different hotel after the convention as there is nothing much around LAX and not the greatest area either. I assume most will rent a car like myself. How about you hysink?

Hey thats okay Brenshal...we need someone to take pictures!!! lol. I'm sure we could figure a way to all get there. Evening classes start at 6 on weekdays so I don't think traffic will be too much of an issue. And maybe if someone is renting a car we can carpool. I will have my own car with me, but its already going to have a full load (mom and friends will be with me lol), otherwise i'd offer to chip in on the carpooling. The only problem I see is that I am not sure whether I will be staying after the convention weekend. Can't say for sure til we get closer to convention time. All depends on money and vacation time. Maybe I can work it so that I'm still there the monday after, and we could go that day in the evening. If not I'm afraid I'll be missing out on the group fun! lol.

Umm.....me and my mom are still trying to figure out the whole 'transportation' thingy. Carpooling sounds great! As of now, we've been thinking either the railway or taxis.......Not much other way to travel really. Plus, I don't drive and I don't think my mom would be able to drive an American car. Being from Australia, they flipped the sides around, so it'll be pretty confusing. LOL
Oh and brenshal, u staying after the con too??? Yay!! I thought I would be the only one staying for a week after the Con. Anyway, have you thought of which hotel to stay in?? Cos I need to find a relatively cheap hotel that's clean and is pretty close to everything (as I won't really have transportation other than my legs!).
slidershal, I really hope you could stay a couple of days more after the Con! We'll have heaps of fun!! *fingers crossed*

Still early days yet but considering a Best Western on Sepulveda, Sportsmen Lodge in Studio City or to be different, a B&B up in the Hollywood Hills. All are very reasonable in price but those may come down closer to the time as that is a low season for tourism. I've stayed in many different areas of L.A. My favourite is still the South Bay area of L.A. I stayed at a Crowne Plaza in Redondo Beach earlier this month and never missed a sunset but much further to drive anywhere and quite far from main tourist attractions which was why I liked it.

I just checked out reveldance.com and WOW! The place looks amazing! I wish I live near CA. Here's my favorite part- "Dress Code: JUST KIDDING! I’ll be wearing whatever I please, and I suggest you do the same. (I might even wear leg warmers. In fact, I might even sell leg warmers.)" Is that the loveable goofball we all know and... well love, or what?

Yes, so true!!! I tell you, the whole website just BLEEDS her (okay, I think I used a bad verb.....lol. Let's just rewind, and I'll say SCREAMS - hmm....that's not really right either. Oh well, you guys get what I mean). I really like how she wrote the class descriptions. They were really funny and entertaining to read!

It's been a bit since I've been on here. Glad to know the single day and general admission tix on sale. Thanks for the update hysink! Gotta buy now before our currency sinks even further against the U.S. greenback.
