What I have always wondered is this:
In Shal's illusion she wakes up in bed with Brennan and is married to him. What I want to know is, how did the psionic creating the illusion come up with that? Did he do it because her cover on the mission was that she was married to Bren, or was it because he created it out of some subconscious desire that he picked out of her mind??

Agree but also cos the cover on the mission that she was marred from Bren helped him or he just could let Bren her BF not husband !

I still think it came from her desires cause how could the guy know about Eckhart? See that's what I always wondered - I don't think the psionic interrogating her knew what their cover was supposed to be, so he had to have pulled that from Shal's subconscious. |
