I've only seen her on MX.....I did watch Xena but not alot....

I've seen all of her work ;D I all honesty I had to vote for MX, because I really do think it is the best part that she's had. Shalimar is so increadible, mainly because Vicky has worked with the MX people to make her that way. Sarge was a little too much of a muscle head, a little more the stereotypical female hero. Shal is much better. ;D SC: If you want to check her out on Xena watch the ep "Adventures in the Sin Trade II". You won't be disappointed.  |

I voted for Cyane purely because everyone else voted for Shal. LOL
Anyways, her preformace on Xena made me a fan of hers that followed her to Cleo and then to Mutant X, so I must give her protrayal of that character the credit it deserves.

When i saw Vicky's aperance on Xena i had no idea who she was. Only after i decided to do an internet on MutantX i found who she was and what other roles she stared in.

Shalgal, you and me had the same experience.  When I saw her on Xena I was like "WHO IS THAT?" Then when I saw that she was gonna be on Cleo, I followed her there and... *sigh* the rest is history! ;D |

It is sad. Why was it canceled?? It was becoming very popular. That's what i heard anywas. At least they are re-showing it on sci-fi. ;D

I thought it was canceled because it was filling the Timeslot that Renassiance Picutes had with all the stations that had bought "Hercules". When "Hercules" ended they still had a considerible amount of time left on their contract with those stations to put something on. Therefore, the came up with the Back to Back Action Hour. I think it wasn't picked up after that contract had run out so they ended the show.
Jenifer Sky, who played Cleo, was very rude about Vicky's move to Mutant X when the series first aired. I don't remember exactly what she said but it was something to effect that MX wouldn't last very long and that Cleo was tragically ended too soon. (Cleo, barely two seasons, Mutant X at least three) How she said it she was very mean in the language that she used to talk about Vicky. She kinda made Vicky sound like a jerk for going to another series within a few months of the last ending, even through MX would come out about a year after Cleo ended. When you think about it, time wise, Cleo and Xena were replaced by Andromeda and Mutant X.

I think that Jennifer Sky wanted the cast to hold out for the chance that maybe the Sci Fi Channel would pick up Cleo, but in reality the chances of that happening were slim. You can't blame Victoria for going to Mutant X. It was work, if nothing else. Victoria can't be expected to pass up a job like that on the CHANCE that Cleo MIGHT have been picked up again. Not cool on Jennifer's part. In all truth, Xena ended exactly when it should have, but Cleo is another story. I was told by the series creator Rob Tapert, exactly what happened to Cleopatra 2525 - Victoria told me this too. Cleo was a very unfortunate victim of budget problems. Rob said that in hindsight, they should never have wasted the money on the companion series and just put all of the money into Cleo. But when Jack of All Trades went under, it sucked a lot of money away from Cleo too, and by the time the ball got rolling again it was too late. The money just wasn't there to keep Cleopatra running. Really really unfortunate.  At least they were able to end it with a decent cliffhanger that in a sense gave the series some closure, instead of just having it drop off in the middle of something you know? That I am grateful for, but I'll always be sad that Cleo ended before its time. If we all keep the faith maybe we'll get DVDs some day... |

I just vote for Shalimar.
It was a easy pick because Cleopatra and Xena are not running in the Netherlands at the moment.
They were running Xena here, but in the middle of the night on weekdays, so nobody was watching.

Hey if we all keep watching MX and begging for more, they might get their budget back. If we can get one more season I'll be happy with that.

What do you mean get their budget back  lost . They had better keep the show running or else I"ll be going there personally to strangle all the ppl who cut the budget and canceled it. I'll be satisfied with it going a few more years thank you very much ;D All of my shows have been canceled except for three including MX so I want something to watch and keep me occupied and happy ;D |
