my fav psrt from shock of the new is when Shalimar and Emma do that tai chi thing in the dojo or whatever it was....does anyone know what hat was??? i loved the music to it it was really good That scene was from "I Scream the Body Electric", Rain, the ep after "Shock of the New". And I really loved it too. But I liked the fight at the end of "Shock" better. Shal looked so awesome when she did that flying carwheel!!! [by the way, could you tell that it was a double doing that stunt and not VP??] On the note of recording to DVD...it is very easy now, as easy as using a VCR |

OOPPPSSS ;D my bad shoulda known that lol adn I'll have to watch that again....I'm surprised Vicky has a stunt double but then again not I know in fool for love when Shalimar and Richard were doing the cart wheels and the flips they had stunt doubles.

Not that Vicky can't handle cartwheels, but you can imagine what might happen if she got tangled up with the other person.
Love the blooper from a few shots before, when Vicky falls flat on her butt, LOL!

I have to say "Fool for Love". Vicky shows alot of range in this ep and it's definitely a credit to her talents as an actress. You see a side of Shal that isn't shown often.
Plus it also helps that Richard Saunders is damn hot!!!

I agree with you 110% Punky. "Fool For Love" is pretty much my all time fave, mostly because Vicky is just so amazing in it. This is one of those eps where she gets to show off what she can really do. As a Shalimar episode, I think it is the most complete character-wise out of all the Shalimar-centric eps. It was the one that hooked me on Shal AND Mutant X both. Mmmm...Richard was yummy. ;D  |

Yeah it was great. I was listening to the audio commentary with Vicky and T.J. and they were talking about the last scene between Shal and Richard. I think T.J. said that they got that last scene in one take or something like that. I love how he just showed the eyes and when Richard told Shal he loved her, the look on Vicky's face was incredible.

LOL! With Zack I was always thinking jeez Shal what is the matter with you? The guy is a THUG! lol. Guess Shal learned to tame her taste for greasy bad boys. I don't think even Brennan is as bad as Zack.
Vicky's performance in "Fool For Love" makes me cry every time. She was so amazing!

I know this is off the previous posts but my favourite Shalimar episode has to be every episode that had the focus on her inparticular, which i know is quite alot but i can't think of one particular favourite episode, i liked it when Shalimar and Brennan got it together properly that was such a good episode, and talk about shalimar being the dominant one in the relationship, the way she put Brennan against the wall in that was very feral-like, lol
