Season 4 was 'The Best of Mutant X' trying to get a season 5. but they didn't. The law suit will not the let them...

It is a simple fact in Hollywood that executives are skittish about uncertainty. I can honestly say that no matter what the chances of MX coming back are small because no one wants to pic up a show with the kind of legal baggage that MX has. Second, Karen Cliche has moved on to a new show.
That said, Sanctuary you have every right to rally for the show and I encourage you to keep doing so as long as you are not giving false hope. And Tasha has every right to present the facts that she has. It is not a question of pessimism. Any arguments need to be done in private. Thanks.

Do you enjoy ruining any hope I have? At least let us try Tasha! A try! There is nothing wrong in trying , is there? Why must we be so pesimitic.I know about marvel and how they them sued and the whole bit. I KNOW! but others shows have beaten worse odds. whats wrong in trying? Its like you want me to quit or something, and its really discouraging.I know you have your reasons and you're not trying to be hurtful, just trying to show me reality.I appreciate that.But there is no harm in trying. And I will try, so even if it doesn't work at least I won't regret sitting on my arse doing nothing when there was a tiny chance. You're a great person tasha but this is really getting me down. Even if this channel would help, If Fox still owns X-men, it's just another law suit waiting to happen, plus the cast is doing other things so you might not have the same cast. Like Cleo said KC is doing Young Blades and FM said in a interveiw he was looking to go back to soaps. Personal, i say go for it. But mxlos joined up with the new pure mx and fought. If you want to fight for something try got Season 3 on DVDs. There not resleing them b/c of the law suit. Don't read this and get mad. see it as a peace of advice and some warning signs of what your up aginst. and OCC - I saided you to IM me b/c i have someone for you to met. some who might help you. |

First of all to clarify, I'm not mad. Really I'm not. The thing is that I'm new MX fan , I just recently discovered it and now I found out its been cancelled. Its like Farscape all over again, an I am sick to death of all the good sci fi shows being cancelled again and again and again. Its just ridiculous and horrible because all these shows have such potential but they always get cancelled before they have a chance to ease into their groove . while other shows have 7 or 10 seasons at least. Its not just MX anymore.Its becomming a pattern even though there are so many sci fi fans out there.How else can we explain the sucess of star wars and star trek? I appreciate what your telling me tasha.I don't want you to think I'm mad at you. I just want to save MX and I know the chances are slim, but at the very least I think we deserve some semblance of an ending. You have some very valid points.Especially the part about the actors moving on because it really wouldn't be MX without the actors. I only recently found out about Karen and the whole young blades thing.bUt tell me , if there was a chance, do you think we could at least get Victoria, victor an maybe forbes back later ? or get lauren lee to come back instead of lexa or something. I am willing to try though and though failure is more likely than success, it never hurts to give it a shot. and to add to this.I don't know is this is of any significance but I found this : Apparently its the season three dvd that they're selling in Japan.Each is a six cd set of season 1 , 2 and three. I don''t know if its true or not, I just found it. |
